History & Growth
Biga Maden San. Tic. Ltd. Şti. was founded in 1985 in Çanakkale and has since been meeting the essential raw material needs of the regional construction and infrastructure sector. Despite economic downturns, the company has pursued a sustainable growth strategy and established a leading position in limestone and basalt production in the Çanakkale region.
Operations
The company maintains active production at its limestone quarry in Derbentbaşı, its basalt quarry in Haliloğlu, and its limestone quarries in Çamköy. We supply raw materials to the concrete, asphalt, and infrastructure contractors operating in our region, and we also produce lime raw material for both the domestic and export markets.
Marble production commenced in 2006 under FRG Madencilik, with custom-size marble orders available on request.
